The King's Head
A row of three 17th century buildings behind a splendid rough stone wall make up the Kings Head. The olde worlde character bars have beams, exposed stone & open fires.
Owned and managed by the Stevens family since the 1980s, the King's Head has built up a good reputation for its quality home-cooked produce using local ingredients. This has now been enhanced by the introduction of three new adventurous chefs.
The pub itself serves good quality pub food all year round. Please note our menu's continuously change using where possible fresh local ingredients.
The pub is open from 11am-11pm Monday - Saturday and 12-10.30pm on Sunday. Food is served all day every day from 11am-9.30pm with the exception of Christmas day. Breakfast is served from 8.30am to 10.30am.The Kings Head has a large selection of Real Ales, up to 7 at any one time, nearly all produced at our own Brewery. The Gower Brewery opened in 2011 producing hand crafted Ale of the highest standards using traditional methods and high quality ingredients. The bar also boasts possibly one of the largest collections of malt whiskies outside Scotland (with over 100 available) and they were all personally collected from Scotland apart from our local Penderyn Whisky.
